Courtney Ludwick was born in Memphis and grew up near Austin. She is a current graduate student at Texas Tech University where she studies literature and creative writing. Her work has appeared or is forthcoming in Watershed Review, Oxford Magazine, Sinister Wisdom, Milk Carton Press, Willard & Maple, and elsewhere. She is an associate fiction editor at Iron Horse Literary Review, teaches first-year writing courses at Texas Tech, and does cool stuff with Literacy Lubbock.
