Amy Hsieh lives in Ontario. She is a Taiwanese-Canadian, bi, neurodivergent writer recovering from post-concussion syndrome. Her poems have appeared in Watershed Review, Grain Magazine, Barrie Today, Devour: Art and Lit Canada, Acta Victoriana, Hart House Review, and The University College Review.

She received an Honorable Mention in the 2020 Creators of Justice Awards contest held by the International Human Rights Festival of Art. She was the recipient of the 2021 Reinhilde Cammaert Memorial Writing Scholarship from Inkwell Workshops. Amy is currently working towards completing her first poetry collection with support from the Canada Council for the Arts.
